About Needham
Needham has been well known for playing a large part in the history of building Boston. In the 1850’s when much of Boston was being filled in, much of the landfill used came from Needham for the project. Later on in the 1930’s it had experienced a surge in population and increased by 50%.
Today, due to its prime location with close proximity to Routes 128 and 90, shopping and services, it has continued to be a top pick for those looking for a quality town, good schools and accessible for most commutes. With many families growing these days, it is not uncommon to find many of the older, smaller homes being either completely renovated or in some cases knocked down and rebuilt with homes that are more suitable for today’s needs.
