About Cambridge
Situated north of the Charles River is Cambridge. Known all over the world as home to the prestigious schools including Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In the 1980’s tech companies played a large role in the popularity of Cambridge. Companies like Lotus planted their roots there and were followed years after by other firms including Genzyme, Biogen and Novartis. Today, the Kendall Square area is home to many additional tech companies including Google, Microsoft and Amazon.
Living in Cambridge offers multiple opportunities for a quality of life. Cambridge is commonly dubbed “The city of squares” due to the number of districts that the city has. Popular squares include Harvard, Inman, Central and Kendall Squares where all have a center that provide local services to the nearby residents.
